On July 18, Catrina and I attended the Brisbane ACPET networking morning tea. This is a social gathering that ACPET often holds to allow like-minded individuals to meet and share thoughts and experiences.
I met some very interesting people with views that I had not previously considered – always valuable to hold a balanced view oneself. Engaged in some considerably thought-provoking discussion too. I was surprised by the breadth and nature of some of the RTO concerns.
If you have an opportunity to attend such a function – networking that is, you should attend. You will find people that share your concerns and you may even find others who can collect people with common issues and use them to initiate change or who can help you build support for your own initiatives.
Networking is a valuable business tool and opportunities like this should not be missed.
